Weddings - Lone Star Piper
|
What is the best way to utilize the bagpipes for a wedding? However the Bride and Groom choose to use them! Here are a few ideas to think about for a wedding ceremony and/or reception:
Before the ceremony: Piping in the guests outside of the Church/Wedding Chapel.
During the ceremony:
After the ceremony: Playing the pipes to entertain the guests while the newly wedded couple has their pictures taken, or lead the group to the reception hall. I can also lead the bride and groom into the reception.
Other suggestions: If possible, have a room set aside so I can warm up on and tune the pipes. It will take the pipes at least ten minutes of playing to settle before the final tuning. The warm up room should be the same temperature and humidity as the main hall.
